Paul Wylde
Paul Wylde has been collecting and playing records out his entire life. Starting in the bars, hotels and smaller clubs in London, he moved to Los Angeles to continue his passion at the legendary Moonshadows in Malibu and private, larger corporate events for the likes of BMW, British Airways and Hilton Hotels.
After brief spells in Seattle and Brooklyn, lucky for us he decided to settled amongst the redwood trees of Carmel valley. His sets spans rare soul, funk, disco and house. Very often, throwing unexpected tracks into the mix such as movie scores, exotica, psych and jazz. He loves to play at Barmel the most and built a loyal local following with “Thursdays Got Soul” for over five years.
He’s enjoyed previous local residences at Compact Disco, Ventana Big Sur, Hops and Fog, Pop and Hiss and The Kimpton Mirador in Pacific Grove.
